Save Google Wave Project – 28000 Online Users are using Google Wave

Save Google Wave Project

Google Wave was not a popular product by Google like company’s other products. When Google announced that it would be closing down Wave, there was no huge impression by online users but who knows that many people were using it. You know, 28,000 people are supporting the Save Google Wave website.

Google has already stated that they:

Don’t plan to continue developing Wave as a standalone product, but they will maintain the site at least through the end of the year and extend the technology for use in other Google projects.

Teachers, filmmakers, students and even a theoretical physicist are few among huge lists who wants Google to continue this project.

Do you think, Google should continue with this product in the future or not? Tell us your thought. One thought can make a difference…

I just discovered your website on yahoo and see that you’ve got some fantastic thoughts in this post. I specifically appreciate the way you’ve been able to stick so really much believed into a relatively short submit (comparitively) which creates it an thoughtful post on your topic. IMHO you set a lot of good information in this upload not having all of the filler that most bloggers use just to make their posts appear longer, that is perfect for a gal like me who doesn’t have a great deal time trigger I’m generally within the go. I frequently get so frustrated with so numerous with the final outcomes in the major SE’s due to the fact they frequently appear to mainly be filled with filler content that often isn’t quite sensible. Should you don’t mind I’m going to add this post and your weblog to my delicious favorites so I can write about it with my loved ones. I look forward to coming back again to read your long term posts too.

Wave is not dead, it’s alive and well at wavelook.com

We’ve just released our Wave client for Microsoft Outlook that has a unified inbox (emails and waves in the same inbox)

We are working on a Wave webapp that will let you sign into any wave server

And we are working on a Wave server that will run in the cloud or you can deploy locally so that you can migrate your data from Google Wave

So if you like Wave, you can still keep using it. It’s not going anywhere.

wave or email us for details: info@wavelook.com.

I loved the idea of google wave, but somehow it failed as a natural replacement for gmail. I expected everything to shift straight across, but mysteriously everyone had a poke around it and returned. I wonder if that was a set-in-habits attitude, or something else.
