Google & Facebook Shorten URL Service 5

It’s Shorten URL’s season. First Facebook and then Google launched their own URL shorten service. Facebook shorten URL is fb.me and Google is Goo.gl.

Google Facebook Shorten URL ServiceFacebook’s fb.me service will allow you to shorten any link on the site – even if you just want to trim down the path to a specific profile page (http://fb.me/ankush.kohli). No mention of whether or not they plan on providing an API for third-party developers to integrate the service.

More Than 350 Million People are Using Facebook 4

Facebook founder/CEO Mark Zuckerberg has posted an open letter to all facebook users that now the networking portal is having 350 million users database. Wow! that’s really amazing.

The other big webcast is regarding a privacy that is due to hit the site in the next few weeks. Soon, users will be able to selectively choose “per-post basis” privacy policy.
